Go Fish!

Poetry and prose about the Mystic River and intrepid herring by local writers shared in conjunction with ArtsArlington's public art project Go Fish!

Go Fish! celebrates the valiant river herring that migrate up the Mystic River every spring.  It is a temporary mural project consisting of 2,500 individual herring hand-painted by people of all ages and walks of life and installed on the brick walls of the Edith M. Fox Library, Olympic Pizza, Play Time, American Alarm, Arlington Police Department, and other locations in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Many thanks to the writers who have generously shared their work, and to the many community partners and supporters who have made this project possible. Conceived and organized by Cecily Miller, ArtsArlington Curator of Public Art. More information: www.ArtsArlington.org/Go-Fish
